Sacramento Saber Fencing has evolved from the former Sacramento Fencing Club which has taught fencing to adults and children since 1985.
Fencing is one of the original Modern Olympic sports and is fun, challenging, and a great learning experience for fencers of all ages.
Exercise in general is good for the body and mind. Physical exercise strengthens muscles, ligaments, and joints. Fencing specifically helps shape valuable motor skills and improves coordination. With training, fencers develop heightened perception, concentration, analytical thinking, and reaction speed.
And it is a lot more fun than jogging!
